A common request is for "SULFITE-FREE WINE".  I have gotten to empathic pronouncing that it doesn't exist.  The right answer is that I have yet to find one that can prove it. I will keep a statement from the "Organic Wine Company" where they cite a professor from UC Davis as well. I have posted the link to the article on the Links page of this web site.

The Rules of Wine

• • Don't be intimidated, drink what you like,and always be open to new tastes.
  • It is not about ceremony, it's about enjoying what you are doing, and who you are with.
  • While most places can grow grapes, not all can make palatable wines, for good reason.
  • Wine is like life, it changes every season due to weather, people, chaos, life. Be open to continuing experimentation.
  • Intelligence, curiosity, and experience, not snobbery, are what make wine tasting and conversations that follow so enjoyable. Excess here, as everywhere, is in bad taste and results in bad memories.
