About Us

Corks & Caps opened for business at 5pm on November 24, 2008.  Build-out (remodeling) of the space had started more than 90 days earlier.  Joe has worked in retail all but three years of his adult life. His father and then his eldest brother own & operated grocery stores, and Joe was employed by their business.  Along with that he managed a convenience store operation providing more lessons in retailing. Along the way he also oversaw the beverage operations. This helped him discover the benefits of good beer, wine, and spirits.

We are a for profit business and proud of our enterprise. Filling a niche in the Greenville market that calls for both convenience & customer service. Our intentions are to keep a "customer convenient" focus to our activities.

Who:

•  Joe – owner, manager, janitor, jack of all trades.
• Bonnie, - Joe’s wife, co-owner, provider of the made from scratch bars, brownies, & cookies we have on the cashier stand a day or so each month.
• Jim – day time wine guy, he can tell you about almost anything, including the wine.
• Tammy - known as “smiley”, helps out around the office, and cashiers for you           
• Kelly - Office professional during the day, beverage professional evenings for you.
• Jason – Stone qaurry guy all day, beer advisor evenings at Corks.
• Tom - Jack of all trades, our in house Beer Expert available mornings on the week end.
